My first contact with the best “Moja babica” started like this:

Three days before giving birth, I had the chance to meet Nastja in person. She is one of the most warm-hearted people I have ever met. A young and driven midwife who wants every mother to have the most beautiful birth experience possible. A midwife who is pushing boundaries in the world of midwifery within the hospital setting.

Unfortunately, my labor didn’t start the way I wanted, but I was overjoyed to spend the first and last 12 hours in the delivery room with her. She provided me with all the comfort possible in a hospital. She enabled me to move around, massaged me, and showed me relaxation positions. Today, I can’t imagine my birth without her. At the same time, she encouraged me with her words, stood by my side, and helped me through the difficult moments. I didn’t need to present my birth plan because everything she did was as if she were actually reading it and following it. Even today, I truly can’t believe how well we clicked. I’m happy she was the first one to hold my little angel in her hands.
