Home birth with a chosen midwife is also becoming an increasingly common choice for birth location in our country. Not every woman is suitable for home birth, nor is every woman prepared. However, those who do have this option should rightly have the choice.
This year, the topic of home birth is also being addressed by the “Student Midwifery Forum“, which will be held on May 31, 2016, at the Faculty of Health Sciences in Ljubljana from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
A few days later, the two-day 17th Novak Days will follow, which will also touch upon home birth this year, but greater attention will be given to cesarean section and explanations, duties, and legal problems in perinatology and neonatology.
On Saturday at 2:00 PM, there will be a lecture open to the public by Frank A. Chervenak: Planned home birth.
