When a couple faces the fact that menstruation keeps coming and that long-awaited plus on the pregnancy test is nowhere to be seen, they usually face the moment of truth: they will have to visit a fertility clinic (we are talking about 12 months or more of planned and unprotected sexual intercourse). 5% of couples do not want children, while among the remaining 95%, somewhere between 9% and 14% of couples are infertile.
