4 dnevna delavnica namenjena babicam v “Bristol – Velika Britanija”, o britanskem babištvu.
Spodaj prilagam letak.
A workshop in Bristol, UK at the end of June of this year. It is 4 days, all in English, and it is about British Midwifery. It is aimed at european colleagues who are thinking of seeking work in the UK or who are simply interested in british midwifery. There will be some practical exercises on obstetric emergencies and two visits to the local maternity units: one a midwife led unit and the other a standard labour ward. There will also be a morning spent learning how to suture.
Accommodation in Bristol “Midwife UK” ’s workshop will take place at:
Horfield Baptist Church
279 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8NY
http://www.horfieldbaptist.net/home.htm
It is obviously best to find accommodation within walking distance to where the workshop will take place. the area is very welcoming, nice and safe. The main road (Gloucester road) is full of independent shops, trendy cafes and small restaurants. There is also a lovely park (St. Andrew’s Park) where you can enjoy a proper cup of English Tea and home made cakes.
Below is a list of selected host families that have given their availability to host course participants in their private houses. There is a choice of single or double rooms, some with private bathrooms and some not. Almost every family will include breakfast in the price and some will allow you to use their kitchen
to cook you own meals. This is probably the most economical type of accommodation in Bristol (prices vary from £25 to £50 per night, per room). For more information please make direct contact with the host family.
